Consorzio Pecorino Romano

If, on one hand, the Production Regulation applies to the manufacture process of PDO Pecorino Romano Cheese, defining its characteristics, on the other, the Statute is to be considered the “fundamental document” which establishes the rules related to the internal organisation and general activity of the Consortium for the Protection of Pecorino Romano Cheese. In addition to the basic responsibilities and ends of the Consortium, it includes the regulations concerning membership and partnership in the “Pecorino Romano” system, their rights and duties, the composition of the social organs of the Consortium, their functions and relative powers and attributions.
